Yoga Breathing at Work
Do you work with people? Do you deal with customers either in person or online? Does your boss or co-workers sometimes drive you crazy?
Hi, I'm Anita from Yoga Anita. I've not only have dealt with clients and vendors in the fitness industry but, as a retired classroom teacher, I also know the frustration that comes with dealing with countless students, parents, faculty, and administration. Before I found yoga, I spent countless sleepless nights rehashing and reliving in person and electronic conversations that were combative, misguided, untrue and even hateful. You can imagine the toll it took on my self esteem, self worth, health, and sanity. (Especially since I am, by nature, non confrontational)
When I found yoga I learned that I could not control what others do or say, but I can control how I feel about it by simply practicing mindful breathing. And I'd like to share some of those breathing techniques with you!
- Nostril Breathing
- Throat Breathing
- Alternate Nostril Breathing
- Sitali Breath
Practice your favorite and you will be amazed at how fast your body responds! And once the body responds, your mind will be clearer and your spirit will be lighter!
